Ever since Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S4 Mini in July, questions have turned away from possible specs and leaked photos to which wireless carriers will carry the Galaxy S4 Mini. Now Verizon looks to be getting the device.

The smaller version of the Galaxy S4 has been seen in a leaked photo, first given to Engadget by an anonymous source. The back of the device in the photo carries a "Verizon 4G LTE" label prominently, and the startup splash screen also shows Verizon branding. In addition, there's a screen shot of the "About phone" section, which shows model number SCH-1435, the prefix that denotes Verizon Wireless's designation for Samsung. Android version 4.2.2 is also shown in the screenshot.

Officially, Samsung only stated that the device will be available internationally, with no U.S. wireless companies confirming that they will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. While this is an anonymously leaked photo, with no confirmation from either Samsung or Verizon, it certainly doesn't look like a Photoshop job. So Verizon customers who would love to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini should be hopeful.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini looks like an iPhone-sized version of the Galaxy S4. It has a 4.3-inch 540 x 960 Super AMOLED touchscreen display, with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, clocked at 1.7GHz powering the device, along with 1.5GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxly S4 Mini comes with 8GB of internal storage, along with a microSD card slot that lets you expand the storage capacity by up to 64GB more.

The Galaxy S4 Mini also has an 8-megapixel main camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing shooter. The device is powered by a 1,900 mAh battery. According to the labeling, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will work on Verizon's 4G LTE network. With just a leaked photo, we can't discern the price or release date, but both of those will certainly be coming soon, either in leaks or officially, if the device is truly headed to Big Red.
