After three crash-marred stages in the island of Corsica, the 2013 Tour de France is all set to resume the competition in mainland France with the race's first team time trial around Nice on Monday.

With just one second separating Yellow Jersey holder Jan Bakelants and 71 other riders, Stage 4 will be crucial to determine the race's leader heading into the succeeding stages of the world's greatest biking race.

Bekelants, who became the first biker to keep the yellow jersey in two consecutive stages in the race, hopes his team, RadioShack-Leopard, can pull off a victory in a stage expected to be hotly contested by team time trial specialists like Team Sky, Garmin-Sharp, Omega Pharma-Quickstep, Astana, and Movistar.

Many cycling analysts think it will be a head-to-head duel between powerhouses Team Sky and Omega Pharma-Quickstep because of their roster of high quality riders. Team Sky has Tour de France favorite Chris Froome while Omega Pharma-Quickstep boasts tour contenders Mark Cavendish and Sylvain Chavanel.

Tactics and teamwork are very important in the 25-kilometer road test around the tricky but picturesque roads of Nice, which is the second largest French City on the Mediterranean coast.

NBC Sports will continue its coverage of the 2013 Tour de France on Monday morning (7:30 E.T) while TSM is set to supply live streaming links throughout the race.
