Hillary Clinton got her most important endorsement to date - a selfie with the queen of selfies, Kim Kardashian. Kim was so excited to take a snap with the 2016 presidential hopeful. She did not mind posting it on Twitter and Instagram even if the photo shows only half of her face.

Clinton and Kardashian met each other during the candidate's fundraiser event in Hollywood on Thursday night. The event, called "Conversations With Hillary," was held at the home of Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, and his wife, Yael Cohen Braun.

According to sources, who have spoken to TMZ, Clinton broke the protocol when Kardashian approached her and asked for a selfie. Apparently, people at the event were prohibited from taking pictures with Clinton but Kardashian became an exemption to that rule.

Clinton reportedly told her bodyguards to let Kardashian have her way. She even started a small talk with the reality tv star. Clinton told Kim that she saw pictures of North and finds her adorable. The star of "Keeping Up with The Kardashians" then asked Clinton about her plans for child care, TMZ reported. Whatever transpired in their talk had Kim tweeting with a hashtag #Hillaryforpresident.

Clinton seemed to hit it out with the celebrities if the number of the Hollywood A-listers who attended the event is to go by. Each of the stars forked out $2,700, which, according to The Wrap, is the ceiling amount of contribution allowed by law. The event was able to raise $1 million and the tickets were reportedly sold out.

According to Variety, A-listers present were John Travolta, Jeffrey Katzenberg and Mary Steenburgen. Jessica Alba was also present, as well as Tom Hanks, Cash Warren, Rita Wilson, Usher and Jason Collins.

Kris Jenner, on the other hand, will not be outshined by her daughter. She also took a selfie with the "next president."

Variety noted that Clinton had long been enjoying hefty donations from celebrities. Stars were not just willing to donate to her official campaign pocket, they are also donating to organizations that support her candidacy like the SuperPac and Priorities USA Action. In fact, a third of the $15.7 million raised in the first six months of 2015 were from Hollywood donors. Haim Saban and Steven Spielberg donated $1million each, according to Variety.
