Houston Rockets vs LA Clippers: TV Schedule, Preview, Live Stream Info., And Where To Watch
Two Western Conference powerhouse squads are set to collide as the Los Angeles Clippers (2-1) hosts the unbeaten Houston Rockets on Monday, November 4th, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Houston Rockets
Houston is one of the four remaining unbeaten teams in the 2013-14 NBA season and their offseason moves are already paying dividends for them this early.
Dwight Howard is definitely back to the old form that made him the best big man in the league. In his first three games wearing the Houston Rockets jersey, the superstar center averaged 15.0 points and 17.0 rebounds to go along with 1.7 blocks per game.
Howard's defensive presence was clearly felt in their first three games this season in which they limited their opponents to just 93.7 points per game, way better than their 102.5 points allowed per game during the 2012-13 NBA season.
The Rockets will look to sustain the momentum they had from their 104-93 win over the Utah Jazz on Saturday. Chandler Parsons led the Rockets in that game with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while James Harden added 19 points.
Los Angeles Clippers
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Clippers will also look to pick up from where they left off in their last two games. After losing their season-opener against city rival Los Angeles Lakers, the Clippers scored two-straight victories -- against the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings, respectively.
Chris Paul has been sensational for the Clippers in their first three games, posting double-double averages of 27.7 points and 12.0 assists, while also tallying 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 steals a game.
Paul posted 42 points and 15 assists in their impressive 126-115 win over the Golden State Warriors last Thursday, which was followed by a 26-point performance in their 110-101 victory against the Sacramento Kings on Friday.
The Clippers, which allowed 110.7 points in their first three games, defeated the Rockets in five of their last six meetings.
