Batman: Arkham Origins is now available for fans to explore, and in addition to the game's story mode, users can earn 288 medals for completingthe various challenges in the game. Here's a guide for getting through those Batman: Arkham Origins Challenge modes.
The game's challenges can be broken down into three different modes: Combat Training, Combat Challenges and Predator Challenges. In addition, each of these challenges can be broken down into different subcategories; Ranked, Campaign, Custom and earn new medals. Challenge requirements will remain the same no matter what the modifiers are on the challenges.
Combat Training challenges are the easiest challenges to complete. These basic missions aim to teach players how combat works in the game, so if players are familiar with the mechanics of the game, or completed the story mode, they should breeze through these 12 missions. Players who fully upgrade Batman before executing these challenges will have an even easier time getting all the medals in this mode.
The actual Combat Challenges are much harder. Players have 12 challenges to deal with, and a player's score is determined how many points they receive after five rounds of combat. The best way to get the gold in these maps is to increase your score multiplier by not taking damage. By constantly dodging and countering opponents, you can add huge bonuses to your score. In addition, certain moves such as ground pound finishers and the bat swarm combined with a high multiplier will give players enough of a score to get to the gold medal.
Predator maps have players taking down thugs in a similar manner of the stealth portions of the campaign. Twelve challenge maps are available for users to play through, and challenge maps are unlocked automatically through the story.
Players should wait until they have completed the story mode and bought all of Batman's upgrades, as certain challenges require special gear. To get the six extreme maps, players must beat campaign challenges. Players must complete three different challenges on a single map in order to completely clear that map. Players should focus on these tasks before taking out the remaining thugs on the map in the most efficient way possible to avoid failing and having to restart the map again.
