WWE 2K14 is due to come to the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Oct. 29, and wrestling fans are eager to try out the latest entry into the series. Now, 2K Sports have announced to Gamestop the Season Pass DLC content for the game, which will come out in three different packs. The Season Pass for the game will be offered for $20.
The first pack of content is the "nWo Pack and Accelerator" DLC, which features one of the most popular stables in wrestling history along with an easy way to unlock content for the game. The Accelerator pack (which will be offered separately at launch for $2) will also users to unlock all in-game items and alternative costumes as well as allowing users to customize each WWE Superstar's attributes.
But the real draw is being able to play as various members of the nWo, as well as unlocking existing character's nWo outfits with the DLC. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall, who will be season pass exclusives, will be in the DLC along with "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Syxx, Curt Hennig, Scott Steiner, and The Giant (aka The Big Show). The nWo pack will cost $9 separately, but The Giant can be downloaded for free.
The next DLC pack will be the "WWE Superstars and Moves Pack" scheduled for December. This pack includes two of the newest WWE Superstars, Fandango and Big E Langston, along with WWE Divas Nikki and Brie Bella and Summer Rae (who will be a free download regardless). 30 new moves and taunts will come with the five characters, and the DLC will cost $8 outside of the Season Pass.
The third DLC pack is the "WWE Legends and Creations Pack" due for a release date of January 2014. As implied by the title, several old school grapplers will come with the DLC including Bruno Sammartino, Dusty Rhodes, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, Jake "The Snake" Roberts, and Virgil, who will be the free download of the pack. In addition to these classic brawlers users will get 15 new parts to use in the create-a-superstar mode of the game. This DLC will cost $9 when bought separately.
This DLC packages add loads of new content to the already jam-packed WWE 2K14, so wrestling fans should definitely consider buying the Season Pass for the game. Though it does not add any new content to the 30 Years of Wrestlemania mode, it will allow users to use several new wrestlers and add even more options to their created creations.
