Ohio State college boys were shocked to find out that their secret tenant was actually not the ghost they were telling their friends about - but another student living in their basement.
What they thought was a utility closet in their basement was actually a bedroom - with a secret tenant, of course. Jimmy Alderman and Brett Mugglin were positive there was something fishy about their newly rented college house. According to them, they could hear their cupboards being opened, their microwave being opened and other strange noises coming from the basement.
When the supposed utility closet's door was knocked down, the boys were more than shocked to find a bedroom complete with photographs in frame, textbooks and whatever else a college student needed in a bedroom. Their secret tenant was identified as Jeremy. It was found out later that Jeremy's cousin used to rent the place that Alderman and Mugglin are now renting which explains why he had keys to the house. The current tenants immediately changed the door locks.
"He was a nice enough guy. He just wasn't supposed to be there," Mugglin told the Lantern.
