"Breaking Bad" fans were not happy when they learned that their "season pass" to the hit TV show will only last them until the eighth episode of the final season.
Noam Lazebnik, a "Breaking Bad" fan from Ohio, filed a lawsuit against Apple after finding out that his "season pass" will in fact only be valid for the first half of the season.
Lazebnik and with other "Breaking Bad" fans paid iTunes $22.99 to be able to watch AMC's meth drama. The suit was filed in San Jose, Calif., and claims for a $29.99 refund. Apple was sued for "false advertising." The company claimed to have posted that purchasers of the pass will be able to watch the entire final season of "Breaking Bad" when, in fact, they would only be able to watch the first half, or the first 8 episodes, of the final season.
"When a consumer buys a ticket to a football game, he does not have to leave at halftime. When a consumer buys an opera ticket, he does not get kicked out at intermission," said the claim.
