If you have a choice of carriers and want a Samsung Galaxy S4, you've got to ask yourself, do you want chic or cheap? That could be the difference between a Sprint and AT&T Galaxy S4, as Big Yellow just got a new exclusive color variant of the best selling flagship smartphone, while AT&T has been spotted offering deep discounts - enough to bring the price of a (relatively) new Galaxy S4 down to $29.

The Galaxy S4 comes in many colors, with AT&T offering a red variant and Verizon having a brown handset. But now Sprint's exclusive "Purple Mirage" has been announced, and it sure looks nice.

Meanwhile, if you don't care about exclusive colors and just want a good deal, AT&T has piled on the discounts for a refurbished Samsung Galaxy S4 as low as $29 - but, according to SamMobile, only for the black and white versions of the phone, and only for the 16GB storage option. Still, if you buy one online at AT&T's website, after a 2-year contract and the "certified like-new discount" on a refurbished phone, the price is pretty much unbeatable.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 5-inch Full HD 1080P Super AMOLED display, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked up to 1.9 GHz and assisted by 2GB of RAM. It comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter. You can get an S4 with internal storage options of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB, and all of the handset versions sport a microSD slot for additional storage of up to 64GB. The camera comes with a 2,600 mAh battery, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box, and lots of nice features like Wi-Fi, NFC, LTE capabilities, and Samsung's TouchWiz UI. The smartphone is available on all major carriers in the U.S.
