The HTC One Max looks closer to a release date as a photo has leaked showing the larger version of the HTC One, along with some possible specifications.

The rumors of an upsized HTC One, previously called the T6, are looking increasingly more realistic as we head towards September, when HTC is purportedly planning on unveiling the HTC One Max. Now, a new photo (above) has been leaked by the Taiwanese website ePrice, showing the large-sized device, and there are a few details that the purported HTC One Max image sheds light on.

Like the HTC One mini, the HTC One Max looks like it will have some plastic components in the chassis, as opposed to the HTC One's unibody aluminum casing. Like the mini, this is likely to reduce manufacturing costs, as HTC has placed the blame on their shrinking revenue margins squarely on the HTC One's pricey production methods.

Along with the photo, the Taiwanese website has leaked some alleged specs for the HTC One Max. It's rumored to come with a 5.9-inch screen, making the HTC One Max's display more than a full inch larger than its flagship predecessor. The HTC One Max's resolution will reportedly be the same as the One, but on the much larger screen. It is likely to be powered by a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, with 2GB of RAM, which is an upgrade from the HTC One's Snapdragon 600 processor. A 3,300 mAh battery is purportedly going to power this massive HTC One variant.

The photographed HTC One Max supposedly has 16GB of storage, but there have been rumors that the device will offer up to 64GB of storage, according to the Verge. A microSD card slot and a stylus are also supposedly featured with the photographed HTC One Max as part of a dual-SIM version being tested in China. However, we haven't seen a dual-SIM version here yet, and we haven't seen a stylus and microSD card slot for the HTC One or its variants.

Of course, this is based on leaked information, which the Taiwanese company has not confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt. But stay tuned to Latinos Post Tech, as leaks are likely to arrive more frequently as we approach the beginning of the IFA 2013 Berlin consumer electronics show.
