Former MLB baseball star Jose Canseco believes former pound-for-pound champion Manny Pacquiao will lose to Brandon Rios when the two fighters meet face-to-face inside the ring on Nov. 23 in Macau, China.
Canseco, the former American League MVP, didn't have a second thought when ESNews reporter Elie Seckbach asked him who would win in the welterweight match between Pacquiao and Rios.
Canseco said Pacquiao is going to lose at the hands of Rios, primarily because the Filipino lost via TKO to Juan Manuel Marquez last December.
"Did Pacquiao just take a loss? Canseco told ESnews. "I don't know, you see when you lose you are going into like a trauma state. I am saying Manny is gonna lose. His confidence is down, so he gonna lose."
The baseball player turned whistleblower also shared his prediction for the upcoming battle between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Saul Canelo Alvarez, saying the American boxer will stay undefeated, because he's faster than his Mexican challenger.
"Floyd Mayweather is faster, talks a big game but backs it up so I am going with Floyd," Canseco said.
Mayweather is set to face WBC and WBA champ Canelo Alvarez in a light middleweight clash on Sept. 14 at MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas, Nev.
