After the hit success of "La Que No Podia Amar," Univision will get started with its next telenovela "Amor Bravio" which unsurprisingly is headlined by an all-star cast.
The novela stars Silvia Navarro and Cristian de la Fuente as star crossed lovers each living in separate countries (Mexico and Chile) who must go through a great deal of trials and tribulations before finding true love in one another. The novela also includes such veteran super staractors as Cesar Evora and Lecitia Calderon as the main antagonists.
The novela is produced by Carlos Moreno Laguillo who is the man behind such hit soap operas as "Cuando me enamoro," "Bajo la misma piel," "Suenos y Caramelos," "En nombre del amor." It is an adaptation of earlier novelas entitled "De Pura Sangre" and "En Los Cuernos del Amor."
"Amor Bravio" had a strong debut in Mexico in March and has maintained a steady audience through the start of August. "Amor Bravio" has yet to end its run in Mexico, but is presumed to consist of 220 episodes. The episodes are said to last around 44 minutes each. It will air on Univision during its 10 to 11 PM prime time slot.
