Mexican company Televisa announced the upcoming release of its TV show "El Chavo Animado" video game for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It will go on sale in late 2013 at a suggested price of U.S.$60.
According to details revealed by Mexican newspaper Milenio, after the success of the first video game of the famous animated TV series based on characters created by Roberto Gomez Bolaños, Effect Studio developed "El Chavo Kart," a video game in which the 12 characters compete in a race car around the series' typical villages.
Via a statement quoted by the newspaper, Televisa said the characters will have the original voices of the animated series in Spanish and Portuguese.
"El Chavo Kart" will allow players to select their favorite driver among the 12 series' characters to explore roads in scenarios such as "Chavoltepec" and "Tangamandapio."
