According to CNET, the Oct. 1 release date for the pre-paid mobile carrier is faster than usual.
"This is uncommonly fast for Virgin, since it usually takes a couple of months after an iPhone's debut for it to arrive on the carrier," noted CNET's Lynn La.
Virgin Mobile offers three data plan options for the iPhone 5s.
The first data plan from the pre-paid carrier is $35 per month, which provides 300 anytime minutes and unlimited messaging and data.
The second data plan is $45 with 1,200 anytime minutes and unlimited messaging and data.
The final data plan cost $55 per month and provides unlimited anytime minutes, data, and messaging.
Virgin Mobile is also offering a deal to subtract $5 per month if the iPhone 5s consumer signs up for the Auto Pay deal.
With Virgin Mobile, via CNET, the contract-free 16GB iPhone 5s will be priced at $549.99, $649.99 for the 32GB model, and $749.99 for the 64GB model.
As Latinos Post reported, the Oct. 1 release date for the iPhone 5s is also shared with smaller mobile carriers Appalachian Wireless, Bluegrass Cellular, C Spire, Cellcom, GCI, MTA, Nex-Tech Wireless, Ntelos, and Strata.
The features for the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s are, for the most part, the same specifications as the discontinued iPhone 5, such as the 4-inch Retina Display with 1,136x640 resolution, 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1080p HD video recording camera, to name a few. The iPhone 5s features a larger f/2.2 aperture for the rear-facing camera with the aim of improving low-light photography. The iPhone 5s utilizes the A7 processor chip with 64-bit architecture, which plays a critical role with the Touch ID. The iPhone 5s will be available in the traditional black and white models, but also a gold variant as well.
