With Sam Mendes out of the next James Bond film many directors have been rumored as possible candidates.
On Jan. 31, a group of 9/11 Parents and Families of Firefighters and WTC Victims issued a statement condemning politicians, actors and critics who complained about the controversial film "Zero Dark Thirty."

With only two days until the Academy Award nominations "Zero Dark Thirty" and Lincoln won best picture awards at Vancouver and North Texas. "Zero Dark Thirty" won its 13th accolade for Best Film at the prestigious Vancouver Film Critics. Lincoln picked up its second best film award at the North Texas Film critics.
On Monday January 7 at the New Film Critic's annual awards ceremony Kathryn Bigelow and Mark Boal took the opportunity while accepting their awards to fire back at congress over their new film "Zero Dark Thirty."
