If you have Sprint and want a spiffy updated version of an already popular tablet, here's some good news. A new version of Samsung's popular tablet, the Galaxy Note 10.1, has been spotted at the FCC for approval for Sprint's LTE Now Network, reports Engadget.

Earlier this month, the Galaxy Note 10.1 was similarly seen at the FCC pending approval for Verizon's LTE network, according to Slash Gear. The cool thing about the Verizon LTE version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 (and we can guess that Sprint's version will be similar, if not the same) is the little tweeks that the LTE version brings to the tablet.

For example, while the non-LTE Galaxy Note 10.1 is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the LTE version, or at least Verizon's LTE, will be running the updated Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. The new LTE Galaxy Note 10.1 will probably have the ability to multitask a lot better than its predecessors, given Samsung's Multi-view window mode, which allows you to work in multiple virtual spaces, like viewing email while web browsing.

Other features sported by the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 that we already know about are a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM, Bluetooth 4.0, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a front-facing camera for video chatting, and a ten inch display. It also has a stylus. The current Galaxy Note 10.1 has a price point of $499, but no word on what the Verizon or Sprint LTE versions might be.

Given this news, it looks like things are moving forward for this updated tablet. Stay with us to find out when the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE tablet is being released either by Sprint or Verizon.
