A seven-inch tablet by Acer has made its debut at the CES 2013 in Las Vegas.
The CES - Consumer Electronics Show - has been the place to debut new products that has since changed the electronics industry.
Acer utilized the CES to debut the tablet that is expected to cost "less than $150."
The tablet, named Iconia B1-A71, will have a seven-inch diagonal WSVGA capacitive multitouch screen with 1,024x600 pixel resolution.
As for the memory, the Acer Iconia B1-A71 will have 8GB of internal storage but can expand to32GB with the microSD card slot.
The tablet, utilizing the Android Jelly Bean operating system, will have Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth wireless technology version 4.0.
As for the camera specifications, a front-facing camera will have 0.3-megapixels.
Weighing only 320 grams, the tablet has 2,710 mAh battery capacity.
According to Acer, the tablet is "ideal for first time users or families opting for a 2nd tablet for their children," as well as being "easy to carry, read and explore, and powerful enough for fast media consumption..."
Acer has not provided a specific release date.
