According to the CISCOs 'press alert,' CES will "announce news from its Service Provider Video Technology Group (SPVTG), which will include a stage demonstration of its latest technologies that are reinventing the TV experience."
LG will also reveal a number of Android powered gadgets including Optimus G-class device and android-powered phones.
While gadgets such as phones, phone accessories, and other Microsoft products are expected to be revealed at the conference, the show stopper is said to the Ultra HD TV. It is to be noted that Sony has already introduced an Ultra H, TV however it costs about $25,000. It remains to be seen what the price tag of this devise will be for the other companies.
Toshiba plans to launch its version of the TV with its L93000 Series Ultra HD 4K LED TV. Scott Ramirez, the company's VP of Product Marketing and Development told ABC News, "What Toshiba brings is experience in image processing...We're taking a 1080p image, restoring it up to an Ultra HD level as well as up scaling it all the same time using our proprietary CEVO 4K Quad+Dual Core Processor - a quad core processor with two extra cores."
Toshiba will be the first of the many companies to present its Ultra HD TVs at the CES conference. The press conference will also host a panel discussion on "The Future of TV, Above and Beyond TV Everywhere," with Executive Vice President of Cox Communications, Len Barlik; Senior Vice President of Fox digital Media, Bill Bradford; Executive Vice President and Chief Tech Officer at Liberty Global, Balan Nair; Director, product planning of BSkyB, Andrew Olson, and Senior Vice President multimedia and distribution, Major League Baseball Advanced Media, Joe Inzerillo.
