Listings for the ASUS Nexus 7 dock have appeared on both the company's Japanese website and the North American retailer B&H, according to a SlashGear report.
The device, which has already released in Japan for 3,480 yen, is currently out of stock. Meanwhile, American consumers will be able to get their hands on the accessory as soon as January 10 for $39.99, if B&H's expected availability date holds up.
Late last year, an unboxing of the Nexus 7 dock was posted on Youtube, with no word on a North American version. The Nexus 7 will not require an update to run the accessory, but has a listed system requirement of Android 4.2. The dock's dimensions measure in at 8.6 x 2.6 x 1.2" with a weight of 280g. The accessory features a micro USB port and a 3.5mm audio output. If you pre-order from B&H, a one-year warranty ships with the gadget.
Details concerning the European release of the Asus device remain sparse.
Google's Nexus 7 runs on Android Jelly Bean and sports a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi, a 1280x800 display, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
Consumers can get their hands on the 16GB model for $199.99, the 32GB for $249.99, and a cellular 32GB for $299.99.
