iOS 6 Problems: Do Not Disturb Bug Update Set for January 7; Apple's Recommendation Until Problem Is Solved

An issue with an iOS 6 feature will continue to persist, but has Apple assured the problem will be solved.

The feature in question is "Do Not Disturb."

Do Not Disturb is a new feature within iOS 6. The feature allows users to stop calls and notifications on their iPhone or iPad. Users can set a time to schedule the feature, for example, if it is on between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., then all calls, texts, and notification will not be shown between that time.

The Do Not Disturb mode has been noted to stay past its scheduled end time and Apple has noted the feature will function normally after Jan. 7.

In a message on Apple's support page, Apple noted users "should manually turn the Do Not Disturb feature on or off."

To turn off the scheduling feature, tap:

- Settings,

- Notifications,

- Do Not Disturb,

- Switch Scheduled to Off.

It appears the problem will fix by itself rather than installing a new update. Latinos Post will follow the progress of the Do Not Disturb feature when Apple confirms the feature has been fixed.
