The iPhone 5 is still rolling out in some countries across the world, but that hasn't stopped many of us from already looking ahead to Apple's next iPhone installment. Based on current speculation, here's what the iPhone 6 (or iPhone 5S depending on who you ask) will end up looking like.
The iPhone 6 looks like it will be breaking Apple's strict color diet by coming 6-8 different colors, much like the latest iPod Touch. While Apple has stuck to the black and white color scheme for its iPhones in the past, the Cupertino-based company may be looking to spice up its appeal with more intense colors in order to better compete with Samsung, which has come off as edgier over the past year.
The iPhone 6 could also sport a "super HD camera/screen," according to Peter Misek, an analyst at Jefferies & Company. In addition, the iPhone 6 could be the first iPhone to have a 128GB internal memory capacity and an NFC chip to take better advantage of Passbook.
With all these nifty additions, the iPhone 6 is sure to be a hit, and the great thing is we shouldn't have to wait too long. Reports indicate that Apple is looking to switch to a 6-month cycle instead of a 1-year cycle with the iPhone to be more aggressive against competitors such as Samsung and Google. This means consumers may be able to snatch up a colorful iPhone 6 around March 2013.
Some other rumors have hinted at a flexible display, but there's a slim chance that Apple will introduce a flexible iPhone anytime in 2013.
As usual, take these rumors with a double dose of skepticism, as Apple has not commented on the next iPhone.
Which one of these rumored iPhone 6 features has you most anticipated?
