PC Fans still have no idea when Capcom's Resident Evil 6 will launch for their preferred console, but at least they now know that Capcom will not abandon them with regards to their other major franchise.
DmC: Devil May Cry is slated for a January 25, 2013 release on the PC, 10 days after it launches for the PS3 and Xbox 720. Capcom published a press release which detailed the version's system requirements and noted that the port will be available via Steam. The game utilizes DirectX 9.0 which enables it to run on Windows XP but Players will need 2GB of RAM and at least AMD Athlon X2 2.8 GHz or Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz horsepower. They will also need at least ATI Radeon HD 3850 or Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTS graphics cards to be able run the game.
The PC version will be compatible with both keyboard and mouse as well as third party direct input controllers and Xbox 360 controllers. The release also notes that players will be able to use such features as Cloud saving, achievements, friends support, and leaderboards as part of the their experience.
The game is slated for a January 15, 2013 release on the PS 3 and Xbox 360 and will feature a new looking protagonist. Whereas Dante of prior iterations was known for his white hair, this Dante has a brown-haired crew cut and looks younger. The game was developed by Ninja Theory and is set in a parallel universe to the Devil May Cry series. Dante's brother Vergil will also make an appearance in this game.
