It looks like the Dark Side of the Force has set its sights on destroying the holidays for humans on Earth.
A new YouTube video featuring a renowned "Star Wars" villain is making its rounds on the internet.
The video, posted Monday, features Darth Vader with a Santa hat, and as noted by Tech Radar, that's as far as similarities go between Saint Nick and the Sith.
According to Mashable, the Darth Santa comedy clip was posted Monday via YouTube channel CorridorDigital.
Playing an evil Santa, Darth Vader appears to carry a bag brimming with "chaos and destruction." While equipped with a festive candy cane lightsaber, Darth Santa uses the device to wreak havoc on those surrounding him.
As CNET described, Darth Santa starts off doing some "mild" destruction as he fills a family's stockings with coal and creates a mess by spilling milk on the floor by using the Force to topple over a glass of milk. The dark Lord then creates more destruction by pulling out his candy cane lightsaber to vandalize a wall by writing "Empire for Life." Darth Santa then uses the Force once again to knock over Christmas trees and make a dog suffer by lightning.
Meanwhile, an adorable young Jedi tries to stop further damage by confronting Vader, but to no avail. Darth Santa easily knocks off the little Jedi by sending him crashing into a wall.
Seemingly satisfied with the disaster he created, Vader rides off in a Dark Side-themed sleigh pulled by TIE fighters and back to the Death Star.

CorridorDigital is freelance video effects (VFX) firm, and apparently, they have been creating visual storyboards with the Microsoft Surface Book, which they could have used as well to create the Darth Santa video.
According to Win Beta, Corridor Digital, which specializes in "epic action heavy short-form VFX YouTube videos," has been featured in a Microsoft Surface-sponsored piece which is part of their #DoGreatThings project. Microsoft's Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book is rising in popularity nowadays, especially amongst creative professionals who rave about the device's portability, inking and power, which Microsoft has been pushing for.
If Corridor Digital did use the Surface Book for its Darth Santa video, it's exciting news for Windows users since Microsoft's devices are now able to offer more options different mobile needs. With the prospects looking up, it may only be a matter of years before Microsoft's Surface line gets ahead of Apple's iPad popular among creative types.
