Here are apps from the iTunes store with some festive features:
ElfYourself by OfficeMax: Price - Free
The OfficeMax app allows users to go "Elf" themselves by personalizing photos on holiday dancing elves.
Users can upload five photos of friends or family from their camera or Facebook, select a dance theme, and the app will generate the video.
The app is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 3G to 5G, and iPad. OfficeMax does "strongly recommend," updating to the latest iOS 6 for "optimal performance."
Gangnam SantaBooth: Price - Free
Similar to the "ElfYourself" app, users can dress as Santa and dance the horse dance made famous by Korean rapper Psy.
Users don't have to pick Santa as options include elves, snowman, and Rudolph the Reindeer. The app allows users to choose a song from your playlists, apply the background photo, add text and voice messages, and share on social media.
The app is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 3G to 5G, and iPad but requires iOS 4.3 or later.
Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift: Price - Free
The holiday version of Cut the Rope lets users cut ropes and feed the Om Nom monster candy but while overcoming obstacles such as spiders and spikes but collecting stars as you play.
The Cut the Rope: Holiday Gift app has received 250 million downloads worldwide and has been given an iPhone 5 graphics support update.
The app is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod Touch 3G to 5G, and iPad and is compatible with iOS 4.3 or later.
Talking Santa for iPhone: Price - Free
Become Santa by speaking into your Apple device's microphone.
Talking Santa gives users the chance to create and share 3D video animation greetings and cards on emails, FaceBook, Twitter, and YouTube.
Santa will repeat your words, provide reactions when you poke, swipe, or tickle him, give milk and cookies, and see what gifts he has for you.

Clash of Clans: Price - Free
An update of the Clash of Clans game features a winter special and for a limited time only.
The combat strategy game that allows users to construct a village, build troops, and battle fellow players online is offering a winter theme with "the best snow fall effect ever seen," according to developers.
The game also features special gift-wrapped explosive traps and collaboration with Santa to attack a enemy's village.
