Rockstar Games will be giving Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online gamers the opportunity to become a boss and live like a VIP, driving new cars, hiring body guards and owning an extravagant, fully manned and upgradeable super yacht -- all these in the new "Executives and Other Criminals" update.
According to the report by Rockstar Games, this latest addition to GTA Online will feature new gameplay modes as well as new opportunities for a luxurious living such as customizable apartments, houses in Vinewood Hills.
New weapons and vehicles for transport protection will also be added into the game in the new update.
The video game developer and publisher detailed in the release that gamers will be able to create their own criminal organizations. Hence, VIPs who will be running their own operations will "gain access" to co-op jobs, challenges and special abilities in Freemode.
Additionally, VIPs will also be able to hire other players as their bodyguards who, in return, will earn a regular paycheck as well as special benefits which include RP, GTA$ and stat boosts for their work.
Besides living the life of a gang boss, the "Executives and Other Criminals" update will also highlight the head-to-head combat between criminal organizations in Freemode. With this, organizations can utilize armored vehicles, the Turreted Limo and even the missile system of the Super Yacht, which is not only fully staffed but also equipped with the new "SuperVolito Carbon helicopter" as well as "personal watercraft."
Also emphasized in the release was the new "Extraction Adversary Mode" where bodyguards will be tasked to "safely extract" an Executive from their crashed jet -- this, after searching and locating the crash site before the Hit Squad does so.
King of the Castle Mode and Moving Targets have been confirmed to adapt to this upcoming update. However, Game Rant reported that other modes will surely be added such as the "Running Back" which will be very suitable for the this update.
The new Executives and Other Criminals update will be available on Dec. 15, 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
This new content comes along the barrage of free online multiplayer content for GTA Online provided by Rockstar Games. Just recently, it has given players a new mode called "Every Bullet Counts" as well as new options for car customization.
