This year, both Microsoft and Sony could make their deals permanent, according to ARS Technica.
According to Microsoft, its Black Friday deals resulted in record-breaking sales, with over 22 percent more than the previous year. Because the Xbox One is still "struggling to keep up with" the PS4 in global sales, Xbox One deals could drop permanently to compete with Sony.
In a nutshell, it would seem Xbox One offers the best holiday deals or sheer variety. Both consoles have bundle deals for $299, but Xbox One has seven deals at $349. Meanwhile, Sony has $399 deals, with Xbox One none in the range.
However, as noted by Forbes, PlayStation 4 is still more powerful.
In the end though, choosing which deal is best will boil down to the consumer's preference.
