Xbox One is slated to unleash several great titles in 2016. According to a Microsoft official, Xbox One players will see the best line up of games next year.
Yusuf Mehdi, marketing executive of Microsoft, spoke at the Credit Suisse Technology Conference, and announced that the Xbox One lineup for 2016 will be the company’s best yet. The currently lineup of games for the 2015 holiday season was also referred to by the company as its greatest.
Aaron Greenberg, marketing executive of Xbox, also shared in October 2015 that its 2016 game lineup may be bigger than 2015’s, GameSpot reported. He shared that he feels like that team is doing its best and putting all their efforts in and will continue to do so even after the holiday. He added that frankly, 2016’s lineup will be as big, if not bigger than the current year. 2015 has been a good year for Xbox One. A number of recent titles also made waves in the gaming community, such as “Call of Duty: Black Ops III,” “Fallout 4,” “Halo 5: Guardians,” “Rise of the Tomb Raider” and “Star Wars Battlefront.”
“If you like to game, this is the year to get an Xbox. We have “Halo 5” launching. We have “Minecraft” on Xbox. We have “Gears of War, “Tomb Raider.” The best lineup; next year will also be the best lineup. That’s lead to really a great success on [Xbox].” Mehdi said.
GameSpot also revealed that provided that no games will be delayed, 2016 will feature a number of great games that are exclusive or time-exclusive to Xbox One. Included in the list are “Quantum Break,” “Crackdown 3,” “Scalebound,” “Inside,” Below,” “Killer Instinct Season 3,” “Gears of War 4” and “Sea of Thieves.” It is very likely that more games will be introduced in 2016.
For people looking to purchase an Xbox One for the holidays, the system console costs $349. Bundles and special packages are also available at designated outlets, which may include a few of its recent most popular titles and accessories.
ScreenRant wrote that although the Sony PlayStation 4 is still the dominant platform in next-generation home experience devices, Microsoft has kept its own niche well in the industry. The company recently showcased its initial batch of backward compatible games for Xbox One.
