It's a one-day sale for people wanting to buy an Amazon Kindle tablet.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet is being offered for $50 less than the original price, regardless of internal storage model.
The 8.9-inch tablet's original price is $299.00 for the 16GB model and $369.99 for the 32GB model when selecting Amazon's "With Special Offers" option. Without the "Special Offers," prices do increase to $314.00 for the 16GB model and $384.00 for the 32GB model.
By using a promotional code, customers will save $50 on the standard Kindle Fire HD 8.9" and the Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 4G LTE Wireless tablets.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9" 4G LTE tablet's original price is considerably more as it offers also a 64GB model.
The original price for the 4G LTE tablet starts at $499 for the 32GB model and $599 for the 64GB when selecting "With Special Offers," while the no special offers $514 for the 32GB model and $614 for the 64GB model.
The Kindle Fire HD 8.9" tablet's promotional code is FIREHD89.
Restrictions are applied to the code. The promotional code is limited to only one customer and only for US Amazon customers.
According to Amazon, "[The promotional code] does not apply to the same products sold by other sellers."
Also be aware that Amazon states it reserves the right to cancel the promotion at any time and the promotional code may not be combined with other offers.
