Although "Grand Theft Auto VI's" release date has not yet been confirmed - it's been speculated that it'll be released sometime between 2018 to 2020 - fans continue to eagerly wait for Rockstar's official announcement regarding its launch, as well as other details related to the title.
The most recent tidbit to come off the rumor mill is that the game will reportedly enable player teleportation or "the ability to transpose oneself from one place to another without having to do any kind of physical traveling," Master Herald relayed.
"The teleporting rumor on "GTA 6" appears to be an offshoot of the previous rumor that the video game would feature a state-to-state map of America," the site noted.
The news portal, however, doubted the feasibility of this alleged feature as "that would be a real massive map and players would do a lot of traveling in between heists."
Some observers may agree to this opinion, although the prospect of having teleportation features does sound exciting. It, however, isn't on top of the list of fan's must-have features for the future "GTA 6," though.
According to Movie Pilot, fans "want every single building in the game to be accessible." This request is understandable, as it heightens the adventure level of the game and feeds gamers' curiosity or love for hunting useful things or resources.
Also, fans want a more diverse map in that it "incorporates different cities" that can be accessed not just via land, but also by air or sea.
Further, fans reportedly want destructible environments - something that will sure challenge developers at Rockstar.
"Realism was also discussed amongst the community. Things like cars running out of fuel, along with a more vigilant police form - such as random searches and check points," the site went on.
Perhaps the game may become even more realistic as technology improves and designers tweak the title to perfection in the next few years. What do you think.
Also, fans wish they could create their own "GTA" gang and be able to hire or oversee crew members.
Some have also clamored for a female lead character in the next "GTA" sequel, which appears to be possible.
Right now, rumors about the upcoming game circulate mostly around the massive map that will reportedly involve the whole US.
"One Reddit user said that the upcoming 'GTA' game will have a pretty unique map because it will have all the GTA maps combined into one consistent world map," Master Herald relayed.
Right now, Rockstar has not confirmed these reports. And so we continue to wait.
