No official release date for the highly anticipated role-playing action video game "Kingdom Hearts 3" has been announced. However, recent information suggests that the game might come late in 2016.
In the recent pre-order listing by online retail giant Amazon, it mentioned that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be released in Dec. 31, 2016 with a note pointing that the game is "expected to arrive before Christmas."
However, Amazon, which listed the game at $59.99 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, emphasized in another note that customers who received an email citing a Jan. 2, 2017 release schedule should not be confused as the said date is just the next shipping date after the Dec. 31, 2016 placeholder date.
Although the listing highlighted that no actual release date is confirmed, a leaked dark and low-quality footage of the game's alleged trailer show a glimpse of what can be seen a "Winter 2016" release.
On the other hand, besides this release date rumors, Yibada cited that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be featuring new Disney Worlds such as "The Jungle Book," "The Fox and the Hound," "Toy Story," "Frozen," "Brave" and "Wreck it Ralph." These new worlds will come along the previously confirmed worlds such as "Big Hero 6," "Tangled" and "Hercules."
Moreover, along the hype that surrounds the game, speculations about the inclusion of Star Wars and Marvel character are also abundant. As previously reported by Cinemablend, "Kingdom Hearts 3" co-director Tai Yasue cited that, although difficult, adding such characters will add variety to the game.
Realty Today, meanwhile, pointed that game developer Square Enix has already slammed the said rumors of featuring Marvel and Star Wars characters. However, the news outlet speculated that weapons such as the Light Saber and Captain America's Shield might come into play in "Kingdom Hearts 3".
Latinos Post reported earlier that there is also a possibility that multiplayer gaming as well as new playable characters will be added to the game.
Just two months ago, it has been reported that the game is not yet ready as the developers of the game have faced a lot of challenges in developing the game in today's generation of consoles which have higher requirements than handheld gaming devices. This, along with laying the foundation of smaller elements as well as changes in combat system, resulted to the delay of the game.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is the much-awaited third installment of the "Kingdom Hearts" franchise which features the protagonist Sora together with Disney Characters.
