While all the attention seems to be on the Samsung Galaxy S7, it looks like another product line under the Korean-base company’s banner could be hitting the market next week.
This is with reference to the sudden listing of the Samsung Galaxy A9 over at the Samsung Iran website which details the specs of the said device.
Most of the features mentioned on the listing do coincide with early rumored specs but the best part of it is perhaps the fact that it will be launched on Dec. 1 per GSM Arena.
For those who are unaware of what the Samsung Galaxy A9 brings, the device will reportedly don a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and draw power from a Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC along with four next-get Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortez A-53s to go alongside an Adreno 510 GPU.
Further supporting specs for the Samsung Galaxy A9 include 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage that is expandable by way of the microSD card slot which can accommodate up to and addition 128 GB of space.
It will also have a 16 MP main camera and a front-facing 5 MP camera in tow while coming with the usual connectivity features such as GPS, NFC and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
The device will come with Android 5.1.1 out of the box while the battery that will be tasked to store the energy for the Galaxy A9 remains unknown for now.
Tech Times is one the reporting sites that believe that the sudden listing over at the Samsung Iran website was erroneous but given that the complete specs and the nearing release date in tow, there could be a chance that such is indeed an official listing.
The release date, if true, does come in time for the Holidays which could make it a device to consider. But for mobile phone consumers, the obvious is that most are still eager to see the next batch of Samsung Galaxy devices in the S7 and S7 Edge.
With the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge believed to be coming out by the first quarter of 2016, it remains to be seen if some folks would spare some dough on the Galaxy A9 line just to sport a new phone this early.
If not, there is a chance that some could hold of purchasing the latest devices from Samsung and save up for the more high-end Samsung Galaxy S7 line unless the Galaxy A9 comes at a price that is tempting to consider.
