With December already imminent, it is time to look at what free games await the Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
GameRant runs down the game titles available starting Dec. 1, and a couple of old titles come with the mix.
Two games made free will be making a re-run for the Xbox One, namely, Thief Reboot and CastleStorm.
Theif reboot is a game that was released two years ago, and sadly, this freebie hardly made an impact at that time. It was again offered last June and will be made available starting Dec. 16 up to Jan. 15, 2016.
Something worth noting for the ones potentially new to Thief Reboot is this: don’t be alarmed if you see two copies of the game. This may occur, especially if the game released is backward compatible.
Another game title that also made a prior debut (in May this year) is CastleStorm. It will be offered free this time for Xbox Live Gold subscribers starting Dec. 1 to 15. Just like the case of Thief Reboot, don’t be surprised to find two copies on your end in the event that it is made backward compatible.
All the games up for grabs may not be entirely disappointing. There is one game that could spur some attention, namely, the inclusion of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing.
This game title will be offered as a free game for Xbox One owners starting Dec. 1 and will become officially available starting Dec. 31.
In addition, there are more free games in store for Xbox 360 owners/ users to look forward to. This will be Sacred 3 and Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising, both of which will be made available starting Dec. 16 up to 31.
With the Holidays upon us, and what with the many gamers out there who are likely to use their time off spending countless nights playing games, the game titles up for grabs might not exactly pan out for folks looking for great freebies to download.
There will surely be some who will end up getting disappointed, so perhaps it would be best to take a look at what is currently available and get them instead. There are November free games still up for grabs.
The four new game titles that Xbox owners may want to consider getting (assuming you haven’t yet) include Dungeon Siege 3 (for the Xbox 360) and Pneumia: Breath of Life (for the Xbox One).
Perhaps one of best batches to come out, other game titles to consider include Dirt 3 for both Xbox One and Xbox 360.
