Looking back at the Samsung Galaxy S6, the device does seem impressive if you are the type who loves to own devices with awesome aesthetics.
For the ones who take into deep consideration that actual functionality and service it brings, two features that have been omitted from it comes into mind. This is with reference to the non-removable battery and the disappearance of an expandable microSD card slot which were inexplicably taken away.
The fact that the battery is non-removable prevents people from replacing it easily. If the battery does end up defective or eventually wears down, the best solution is perhaps to take it the nearest Samsung service center and have it addressed.
As far as the exclusion of the microSD card, such limits owners from storage where the obvious recourse is to download files to your PC or laptop to make sure it has ample space.
Nothing can be done about that for the Samsung Galaxy S6 but are two things that could be addressed by the Korean-based company for the Samsung Galaxy S7.
Of the two, it looks like the microSD card issue is being addressed as we speak.
According to HDblog.it, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will come out with support for swappable microSD cards once the next iteration hits the market. The report also says that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a 5.2-inch display while the accompanying variant, Galaxy S7 Edge could be toting a 5.7-inch screen as well.
The said post is still up for confirmation though but of the revelations indicated over there, the return of the microSD card slot should be one of the better features that folks will surely approve.
Could this be one reason why Samsung sales dipped with the Samsung Galaxy S6?
That angle remains up for debate but regardless, it does of course bring a big sigh of relief for ones who had to worry about the amount of (internal) storage space they had with the S6.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is a device believed to be debuting by the first quarter of 2016 so it will be interesting what other features are in store for folks who may be planning to get one.
To recount, other features of the Samsung Galaxy S7 include that of the device coming out in two variants with different processors (Exynos 8890 and Snapdragon 820 chipset), faster LTE connectivity and a 12 MP megapixel camera.
On the outside, the device is said to be coming out with a sultry magnesium alloy body. Summing all up these rumored specs, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is slowly taking shape and will hopefully be cheaper than its predecessor as mentioned before by GforGames.
