With 2015 nearing a close and the latest iPhone 6S and 6S Plus out in the open, it would be only natural to hear folks talking about what lies ahead in 2016 as far as the next iPhone variants will be on the end of Apple.
We did mention something about a possible 4-inch iPhone that is widely being rumored to be out in 2016, something that will most likely carry on the iPhone 6 line and called the iPhone 6C.
Do take note that its expected model name is iPhone 6C and not iPhone 7C which many had speculated since Apple will most likely be geared to the next iPhone variant.
It is believed that the 4-inch model will most likely be made for the budget-conscious folks, not to mention leave a brand recall of sorts so as not to totally have the current iPhone 6s models dying from the mobile phone scene so quickly.
Being a budget phone though, Apple will likely do away with some features such as the 3D touch which is one of the best features that the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus has to date.
The said 4-inch iPhone will likely come out by the middle of 2016, a couple of months before the regular launch month (September) where Apple unveils its new set of iPhone variants.
Other than that, the main focus is, of course, the next iPhone iterations believed to be the iPhone 7 and 7Plus. With nothing factual understandably out thus far with the expected launch date pretty far off, it is believed that the device will most likely be thinner and something that will make use of more powerful processors.
There was also that post wherein we shared with you the possibility of the iPhone 7 to be waterproof, using a special technology to expel water from creeping in and leaving your device useless.
It remains to be seen what other special features the iPhone 7 and 7Plus will bring with mostly focusing on the external aesthetics and, of course, the chips and display.
The iPhone 7 will likely retain on its TFT-LCD display for the next three years, tied up with the big investment that Foxconn has been riding on it.
Aside from that, the processor could possibly be jacked up to the A10 chip with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company reportedly supplying 100 percent of Apple’s next generation mobile chip as mentioned by Techno Buffalo.
With a lot of time before any iPhone variant comes, expect the rumored fact sheet to be appended as the months pass.
