The iPhone 6 rumors have already started to whirl about and the latest include the first claimed pictures of Apple's next smartphone.
Parts Company ETrade Supply has posted pictures of what it claims to be the next generation iPhone's rear case. They also claim that the pictures were taken from the assembly line of an operation room and noted that the main differing factor was an 'X' near the logo, which usually indicates a test prototype. They also note that the screwholes for attaching the logic board and the screen have been altered. Macworld.com concludes that this could simply mean an incremental change from the iPhone 5 to the next iPhone rather than a revolutionary rehaul. ETrade Supply does indicate that the pictures could also be for the rumored iPhone 5S which would presumably be a slight upgrade over the iPhone 5.
Smart Bezel, Projector? Apple's Patents for Future Phones
Other rumors circulating around the next iPhone include the possibility that it could have a smart bezel or even be a projector phone. These rumors were raised after 3D renderings of past Apple patents for the iPhone were created. As for the release date, it seems that the phone will launch in mid 2013 as per the usually reliable Taiwanese Digi Times.
iPhone 6 Coming to T-Mobile For First Time Ever?
