For Apple users who have yet to upgrade to iOS 9.1 well you can still technically apply the jailbreak from the Chinese hacker team of Pangu.

The said jailbreak came out in mid-October, a surprising release considering it took them and other hackers a tough time trying to hack in to the previous iOS 8. Hence, it seems a bit surprising how they were able to come with and breach iOS 9.0 so quickly, taking only 28 days to do so.

The jailbreak can be applied on devices running on iOS 9, 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.

The jailbreak is still up at their website and should be still applicable to the Apple owners who have not yet applied the latest iOS 9.1

However do remember that by jailbreaking your device, you are technically voiding its warranty and violating the Apple End User Licensing Agreement in the process. Then again you can always revert it to its factory settings with a simple restore.

For the folks who are used to it by now, with reference to past iOS versions that have been jailbroken, you can enjoy the same privileges with this one.

With the jailbreak, Apple users can install a lot of Cydia tweaks that come along with the version together with some others. That includes

  •  Live Photos Enabler
  • BreadcrumbsAway
  • UniversalForce
  • Medusa
  • Hapticle
  • UntetheredHeySiri

These added features should come in handy for the folks who are looking to maximize features that were not found on the default OS. Depending on how advanced or techie one may be, these should be dandy features to consider.

Aside from that, what else can one do with their mobile device? Well plenty.

Well one is putting Siri to work, using it to help you as far as reminders are concerned.

Aside from that there is that ever-running problem of mail management. With the new ‘Trash All’ feature, you can now easily delete all the unnecessary and junk mails to free up space and put your inbox in order.

As far as viewing websites, don’t limit yourself with the mobile version. With the ‘Request Desktop Site’ button available, a simple tap will render the actual site as it looks on PCs or Macs.

For those who love to play around with the camera, the Slow-Mo Speed should be a curious feature to use. This one should be good to use if you want to make fun or perhaps when it comes to taking action shots like sports.

Finally, folks who end up dealing with battery issues can put the Low-Power Mode to good use. It cuts off the unnecessary resources and helps maximize whatever battery juice you have left until you are able to recharge your device.
