Thus far, Nintendo has not given a lot of information about the next installment of the Pokemon series, "Pokemon Z."
With not much news from Nintendo itself, gamers have gone to Japan for information about their favorite Pokemon. According to IGN, the latest issue of Japan's CoroCoro Magazine has leaked information about the existence of new versions of familiar Pokemon.
These new variations will all be featured in the upcoming "Pokemon XY & Z" anime, with the first variation revealed to be Ash-Greninja. The description given for Ash-Greninja is that this form is where Greninja takes the bond that Greninja and Ash has made to its limit. Reports say that this Greninja will be dressed like Ash.
However, the most interesting information that has been leaked from across the sea is that of how the new legendary Pokemon Zygarde will be heavily featured in "Pokemon Z." According to CrossMap, the new pokemon will have five total forms which the trainer will have to help evolve by absorbing the cellular structure of nearby Z cells.
The first form of Zygarde is called The Cell, and it is the most basic form of the Pokemon. This form is common and can be found everywhere but it is not yet self conscious. After absorbing more cells, the next stage is called The Core. Here, Zygarde is now self-conscious and self-aware.
The next stage is called 10%. In this form, Zygarde is now a dog-like creature similar to Houndoom. Rumor has it that this form absorbs cells around it faster than the previous two stages. The second to the last stage is called 50%. In this form, Zygarde now looks like how it did in "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y" like a serpent.
Lastly, if the 50% form defeats a threat to the ecosystem that it usually wouldn't be able to handle, Zygarde takes on its complete form. The rumor that is going around is that this form is even more powerful than Xerneas and Yvelta.
While currently these are still speculations as Nintendo can choose to change all this before the game's release, it sounds like they are finally trying something new with this Legendary Pokemon.
Even though there is still no word when "Pokemon Z" will be released, fans of Pokemon will have several titles to keep them busy. The highly anticipated "Pokemon Go" will soon be available for iOS and android users as they attempt to catch Pokemon in the real world. "Pokken Tournament" is also nearing its release date for the Wii U.
