The patent infringement trial between Apple and Samsung isn't limited to the US courts but it's also happening across Europe with a new verdict the Netherlands.
Back in August, Apple won a $1 billion dollar verdict in California and now Apple has won another round, which bans several Samsung products in the Netherlands.
The Samsung products banned in Holland are the devices that run utilizing the Android 2.2.1 to 3.0 that also used Samsung's photo gallery software, according to IDG News Service and Reuters.
The loss comes following a previous Dutch loss when a sales ban was placed on the Galaxy S, SII, and Ace devices.
In addition to the ban, the Dutch courts have ordered Samsung to reveal how much profit they have made from the infringed products as of June 27, 2011.
A different court date will determine if Samsung has to pay Apple any fees, similar to the US verdict back in August. However, IDG News Service noted Samsung will have to pay up to $129,000 for every day it has violated the ban, based on court rulings.
The news comes as Apple and Samsung continue to battle in American courts. As Latinos Post reported, Apple has filed for the courts to ban the Galaxy S3, Galaxy S3 Mini, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9 Wi-Fi after Samsung filed a notion to include the iPad Mini, iPad 4, and iPod Touch Fifth Generation to the trial last Wednesday.
