Owners of Sony gaming consoles such as the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita are well aware of the great service that the PlayStation Plus subscription is since the service pretty much pays for itself with the free games given each month.
According to Game Rant, the games available for PlayStation and PS Vita owners are really topnotch, considering that they are free for download. All games mentioned will be available for download on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.
For the PS4, the three games available will all be indie titles, and according to Game Spot, both look to be very entertaining. The first title is called "Broken Age" from video game developer Double Fine. "Broken Age" is a throwback to the days of point-and-click adventures. "Broken Age" was founded through Kickstarter, and backers of the game will not be disappointed.
The second game that will be made available will be "Super Meat Boy." This game has already seen play on the Xbox One and PC, and those who have yet to get a copy of this very addicting, super challenging platform game will be happy to see what the PS4 can do with it. The last game that is available for the PS4 will be a little-known puzzle game called "Unmechanical: Extended."
The PS3 also has three games available for download, again all independent games. However, the titles are lesser known but are promised to still have fun and challenging game play to them. The titles for the PS3 are "Chariot," "Kickbeat" and "Kung Fu Rabbit."
For PS Vita owners, sadly, there are no PS Vita exclusive games for download. Instead, since the PS Vita is compatible with both the PS3 and PS4, Vita owners will have two games from both consoles available for download, from the PS3 "Kickbeat" and "Kung Fu Rabbit" and from the PS4 "Broken Age" and "Super Meat Boy."
Sony has also mentioned that "Drive Club" PlayStation Plus Edition will also no longer be available for download after October 6. Players that would like to have the game in their library are advised to download it now before it is taken off the PlayStation Store. This is kind of sad since it took a long time for the game to become available for download, and several problems were also associated with the download. Officially, it took a longer time for the game to be put up than the time it actually stayed available.
