While many international markets have received an Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean update, there are still some key players here in the United States still out of the loop, such as Verizon and AT&T. As Americans are waiting, Vodafone Australia will be releasing Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for its Galaxy S3 users over the next two weeks.
Last week, Vodafone announced on its blog that it would begin releasing Android 4.1.1 on Monday, November 26. As with all Android updates, however, Android 4.1.1 will be staggered over a period of time. Vodafone also stated that all of the Galaxy S3s on its network should be updated within two weeks after the initial release.
Vodafone informed customers that the update would be available OTA or through Samsung Kies.

U.S. Release Situation
As of November 27, only two carriers in the United States have released Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean for their respective Galaxy S3 variants. Sprint was the first, and T-Mobile followed soon after. The two largest wireless service providers in the United States, AT&T and Verizon, still haven't produced much information on an update.
Leaked Verizon Jelly Bean ROMS, however, show that Verizon is close to finishing their Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean build and there's a good chance consumers will get it before the year is over.
AT&T was rumored to be preparing an Android 4.1.2 update, but there's no news on when Jelly Bean will be available for Galaxy S3 owners.
Carrier U.S. Cellular also hasn't confirmed any plans for a Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update.
