Hello Games has kept the release date for "No Man's Sky" under lock and key. The developers seems determined to keep it that way in order to tickle the inquisitive minds of interested gamers. With luck, recent news has revealed that more of "No Man's Sky" will be showcased as part of the New Yorker Festival on Oct. 3, 2015.
According to iDigital Times, Hello Games is not keeping the release date for "No Man's Sky" a secret. The game developers are in fact just showing followers how far the game has progressed over the years. The report further revealed that from what they have seen so far, the gameplay alone probes to be very promising.
Earlier this year, a very long and elaborate article about "No Man's Sky"was written by Raffi Khatchadourian on The New Yorker Magazine. According to the piece, the virtual universe of the game is being created by a team of about a dozen individuals in a two-storey building. These people are adept in manipulating lines of codes, creating mathematical rules from which the age and arrangements of celestial bodies such as asteroids, moons, stars, and planets can be deduced. The team is led by Sean Murray, 34 years old, who left Electronic Arts in 2006. He and three friends created Hello Games, believing that small teams work better and creativity will rise from constrains. Thus far, the company has released a game called "Joe Danger," which garnered great reviews from gamers all over due to its playability and humor. The predecessor is dwarfed in comparison to "No Man's Sky" since the game in development is rumored to contain about 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 planets - each unique in size, age, terrain and climate.
As interesting as it may sound, the release date for the game still remains elusive. Despite this fact, CBS has announced that the game will be featured on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," according to Game Spot. The report mentioned that YouTube star PewDiePie will have an interview with the host of the show and do a demonstration of "No Man's Sky" on Oct. 1. The next night, Hello Games' very own Sean Murray will be on the spotlight to provide insights on how far the game has gone with its development.
On this note, Game Reactor reported that a release date for "No Man's Sky" will be divulged.
October would seem to be the month when gamers finally learn the release date for "No Man's Sky." Although still unofficial, fans can only hope for the best and cross their fingers.
