It looks like Destiny is being plagued by complaints.
According to Tech Times, Destiny 2 had originally been scheduled for release within the last few weeks of September based on the court documents published online, revealing the original launch to be September 24, 2013 - a full year of delay due to revisions in the game's story.

According to the agreement, as per Tech Times, the game's sequels are due for launching every other year. The second is expected to be publicly available on September 30, 2015 while the third is due for release on September 30, 2017. The fourth installment will be in two years - September 30, 2019.
Release dates aside, Destiny 2.0 has been getting a number of negative feedback from fans, specifically on downloading issues, according to Wired, including "a restructuring of the story missions, a simplification of the levelling system and the removal of Peter Dinklage's vocals in favor of an expanded script featuring Nolan North as your A.I. companion. "It might be the company's answer to requests to make the game more "narratively coherent, more consistently rewarding and less daunting."
The "updates," however, led to a whopping 17GB of download size, which angered Destiny fans everywhere. Fans have flocked to the Bungie forum to express their dismay, Video Gamer reports.
"Hour 6!!! Six hours still at 69 percent. This is unacceptable," exclaims one user on the Bungie forums. "Update: Seven hours and I've gone up one more percent!! Woohoo. At this rate I'll be able to play next year!!"
"I'm 12 hours in with 3 percent, every five minutes says installation stopped," complains another. "I'm aware that updates come with glitches and bugs but this one has the first place."
While some took just a little over an hour to download the game, a majority of gamers' downloads seem to have been stuck, according to Video Gamer.
The same website suggests the following steps for those who have a hard time downloading:
If you're still having a hard time waiting to finish your Destiny 2.0 download, a few people who were able to download the update relatively quickly have a few tips. Also, download in rest mode and leave your console alone. Don't keep checking every few minutes. Go watch Netflix, feed your cat, sleep, or something.
Finally, one user suggests to download from the Apps tab instead of the Destiny app itself. Also, go to Network > DNS Settings > Advanced Settings and enter the following for the DNS:
