Beyoncé Celebrates 34th Birthday; Queen Bey's Family Makes Her a Birthday Playlist [LISTEN]

Beyoncé celebrated her 34th birthday on Friday and a lot has been going on, including a birthday surprise playlist made by her family and friends, as reported by USA Today.

ln a post on the singer's website, Beyoncé's loved ones picked songs that "narrate their most cherished moments with her." The playlist came with a collage of Beyoncé's pictures from the past to present. Here are some of the songs in the playlist along with their message/dedication to the "Love on Top" singer.

Beyoncé's Mom – "Home" by Stephanie Mills

"One of both our favorite songs. I remember you singing at the Peoples' Workshop when you were just 9 years old. You brought the house down and got a standing ovation and all. You did a spin and wound up backwards and then — in what would become 'True Beyoncé Fashion' — you made it part of your act. The show must always go on!"

Beyoncé's Dad – "Here I Go Again" by Smokey Robinson

"I used to sing this song to you when you were in your mom's stomach. After you were born, you would stop crying immediately when I sang it to you and your eyes would light up."

Solange – "Holy Ghost" by Kim Burrel

“I think about one of the best moments in my life. My sister, humming this with me softly, being the beautiful calming spirit that she is, making everything that resided in that moment full of love."

Jay Z – "Yellow" by Coldplay

Some of the former Destiny Child's crew also greeted Queen Bey. Michelle Williams picked the song "Island Letter" by Shuggie Ottis and said, "I have a fond memory of us pulling up to Newark Airport to travel and you would almost go into a trance listening to this entire Shuggie Otis album titled 'Inspiration Information.'

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland chose Mary J. Blige's "Whats The 411?" for the singer. Rowland recalled how they were listening to the track in repeat during her first sleepover at Beyoncé's home. "I felt like I had truly found a friend and what turned out to be a lifelong bond," she said.
