Beyoncé is reportedly snubbing her highly anticipated joint album with rapper husband Jay Z to drop a solo record instead.

The hip-hop power couple was previously claimed to be almost done with their project, and Tidal was expected to make its release much more interesting.

During his TV show SKEE Live's popular segment "The Red Pill," DJ Skee revealed the duo's collaboration was "finally nearing completion" and would be released exclusively on the Brooklyn emcee's music streaming service.

The Los Angeles-based personality was actually the first one to announce the album news on-air via his Dash Radio last year.

"The biggest couple in music, maybe entertainment, maybe the world, they're working on an album together. You know who I'm talking about -- Jay Z and Beyoncé," he said. "I have confirmed and talked with a couple sources."

Karli Henriquez, vice president of pop programming at Dash Radio, then confirmed to E! News that the R&B diva and the "Magna Carta Holy Grail" rapper are joining forces to create a "huge" new LP.

During his red carpet appearance at the Grammy Awards in February, producer Detail, who contributed to the married pair's 2013 hit "Drunk in Love," also hinted that their full-length effort could drop before the end of the year.

"I'm working with a couple of new projects that I don't want to unveil, and then me and Beyoncé and Jay Z are actually doing something together this year," he admitted to Billboard. "When you think of Jay and Bey together, you think 'album.' You should already know."

When asked if the joint album was going to arrive in 2015, the Detroit native replied coyly: "In my imaginary mind, I will work to say it's true."

However, The Sun, via International Business Times, recently reported that Bey and Hov are no longer collaborating.

"She worked on it [her new record] with the likes of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Plans for an album with Jay Z are now on the back burner," an insider revealed.

The "7/11" singer's record label Columbia is apparently aiming for another success with the follow-up to her self-titled studio album.

"Studio bosses were keen for Beyoncé to have another big pop record. They wanted more hits like 'Drunk in Love' and 'Pretty Hurts,'" the insider added. "But Beyoncé is fully in control of this release and decided she wanted a heavily urban record."

With that being said, a screenshot of Beyoncé's supposed new tracks surfaced online. According to the image, she has registered five songs to ASCAP, with one of them being a collaboration with Lil Wayne, titled "Troubled Past."
