Apple's keynote event today (September 9, 2015) takes place at 10 a.m. PDT and people can visit Apple.com to find the free live streaming link (right here).

The company is expected to launch the next generation iPhone 6S and possibly an Apple TV and updates for the iPad series Sept. 9 in San Francisco.

Like that of years past, the highly anticipated mobile unveil is expected to be made during the keynote speech by Apple's chief executive Tim Cook, along with senior vice president of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller and senior vice president of Internet software and services Eddy Cue.

iPhone 6S and 6S Plus Projected Features

The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are looking to make a debut. There have been numerous reports predicting the possible updates to the mobile device, including a battery that could last up to 7 days.

The Telegraph reported, British tech firm, Intelligent Energy, created energy by combining hydrogen and oxygen, leaving behind small amounts of water and heat as waste to be used in a cell phone. This modification is said to power the Intelligent Energy's iPhone prototype for up to a week.

The chief executive of Intelligent Energy, Henri Winand said, "We have now managed to make a fuel cell so thin we can fit it to the existing chassis without alterations and retaining the rechargeable battery. This is a major step because if you are moving to a new technology you have to give people a path they are comfortable with."

That sounds promising! However neither Intelligent Energy or Apple have directly confirmed working together, but hopefully this news will be revealed in just a few days.

In addition, Siri will receive a few upgrades. As The Telegraph writes, the mobile personal assistant should become "more proactive in recognizing your behavior," in addition to the mobile itself sustaining "longer battery life" and improving existing applications like Maps and Notes. "The new News app aims to provide an experience akin to reading a magazine, with big glossy visuals."

The exciting new launch will take place Sept. 9 in San Francisco at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium.
