'GTA 6' Release Date, Gameplay & Rumors: To Include Family Life & Relationships?

The "Grand Theft Auto" series has become a household name for gamers near and far. Some have even declared that it is a must-have if one considers himself or herself a "true gamer." With the trailer released by Rock Star Games almost two years ago, the rumor mill has been hard at work.

The agonizing wait is almost over as the release date draws closer. Still, the new addition to the series holds many mysteries to keep fans guessing. What new features will "GTA VI" give fans?

According to Day Herald, one popular rumor will be that the new addition to the series will feature a global feel to it. With several cities already covered by the previous games, "GTA VI" may have all the cities that have been featured. Cities such as Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City and Los Santos have been rumored to return for side missions. There has been no word on the central city for "GTA VI."

Another popular rumor is that gamers will be able to have relationships in the game, even to the point where the main character can get married if players wish to do so. Movie Plot states that this feature is very similar to that of the Sims game. However, this could actually take away from the usual bad-ass main character personality that the "GTA" games are known for.

One of the best features that all the "Grand Theft Auto" games have had up to this point are the cars. Players have always had a wide array of cars that they can "acquire" through various means. These cars range from classic Mustangs to high-end cars like Ferrari or Lamborgini.

However, the most requested feature from the fans is that of the main story plot. Many gamers have felt that the main stories of the previous games have been too short. Most of the time, players find themselves playing the side missions rather than going through the main story to lengthen the game's life span.

Currently, the makers of "GTA" are busy making the next game in the "Red Dead Redemption" series. It could be a long time before we see "GTA VI" on the shelves. Considering that there were a couple of years between the previous titles in the series, this is nothing new for fans of the franchise.
