Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale comes out Tuesday, but some fans have already obtained the title and are apparently releasing spoilers on a number of threads.
One thread on GameFaqs has already unveiled a great deal of the content and it seems that Sony was not exaggerating when they said there were hundreds of hours worth of content.
The title apparently has four difficulty settings for single player modes including Easy, Hero, Legend, and All-Star. There are 10 general trials and each character gets 23 individual trials. When taking into account that there are 20 characters, that means a total of 470 trials in the title. Rival title Super Smash Bros. Brawl only had 51 event modes in the entire game.
User The New Blueguy added that there are 105 total profile card backgrounds to unlock, which each character having five to unlock. Each one is unlocked when players reach ranks 16,19, 25, and 300. There are also a total of 333 icons to unlock with each character having 16 to unlock. They are unlocked at ranks 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 23, 24, 50 and 200 and are mainly character poses and scenes from their games
There are also There 624 FFA titles to unlock. These are names that appear on profile cards and are unlocked by gaining different coloured belts in FFA tournaments. There are an additional 533 Team titles to unlock as well and they are obtained in 2 v2 tournament play. Finally players can unlock 20 minions when reaching rank 8 with a character.
In addition to the profile and character unlockables, players will have other goals including 9 session goals that implemented daily for match-made online game. There are 35 career goals for the entire game as well as 78 tournament goals for tournament mode. Players will also have 80 Goals for Ranked match sessions, 127 Arcade Mode Goals, 84 Combat trial goals, and 19 Versus mode goals. Completing some goals ties into some of the other ranks and unlockables but has nothing to do with unlocking characters or stages.
