'Metal Gear Solid 5: Phantom Pain' Release Date Moved? Gameplay & Rumors Here!

New details for the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" release date have been revealed by Konami.

It seems that PC gamers can get hyped for the launch date of the game as it was confirmed that the PC version of the game would launch alongside the console versions.

According to a report by VG 24/7, Konami has confirmed that the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" release date of the PC version has been moved from its initial release date of September 15 to September 1, the same day as the release of the console versions of the game.

As was noted on the report, the PC version of "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" can be purchased on Steam once the release date of the game hits.

VG 24/7 reported that Konami made the decision to move the "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" release date due feedback from the PC gaming community. It was also confirmed that PC gamers who pre-ordered "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" will get a free copy of its prequel, "Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes".

Meanwhile, Konami has updated the official Steam page of the game as they unveil the official PC system requirements for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain".

According to a report by IGN, Konami Europe confirmed that they have prepared a new gameplay trailer for "Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" and that it would be shown on August 5 at Gamescom.

The report by IGN also notes that attendees of the event can play a demo of the game there.

"Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain" is set to be released on Sept 1, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
