Verizon customers not only get access to the nation's best LTE coverage, but also some of the best phones in the market. The nation's largest wireless provider will be releasing the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 phablet on November 27, and will also be getting another massive phone, the HTC Droid DNA, soon after. Let's see how these two 5-inch behemoths compare.
Both phablets are powerful, and both offer their own distinct strengths. The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with the S Pen electronic stylus, while the HTC Droid DNA's display is simply amazing.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 comes with a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display that has a resolution of 1280X720, meaning it puts out around 267 pixels per inch (ppi). Underneath the huge screen lies a 1.6GHz quad-core processor running a blazing fast Android Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Note 2 also comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera. Oh, and let's not forget that the Galaxy Note 2 has LTE capabilities.

The HTC Droid DNA is based off the HTC J Butterfly from Japan, so the specs should be almost identical. The HTC Droid DNA should sport a 5-inch 1080p display that will give users an eye-popping 440 ppi. The handset should also be running Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean or higher on a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The phone will reportedly come with an 8-megapixel camera and 16GB storage, just like the Galaxy Note 2. The device should have LTE as well.

Verizon and HTC will be officially unveiling the HTC Droid DNA at a NYC event on November 13. The handset is expected to release around December 6, according to Ubergizmo.
As you can see, both handsets are incredibly capable, and two of the most advanced smartphones a Verizon customer will be able to buy. In the end, if you want something a little smaller and with an incredible display, you might want the HTC Droid DNA. If you can shell out an extra $100 and want an intuitive and responsive electronic stylus, then there's nothing better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.
