Windows 10 is set to release soon and the Windows 10 for beta is already available. Here are some details about the new OS.
Microsoft revealed that Windows 10 is very familiar and easy to use so people do not need a lot of time to learn the interface. The Start Menu is already back and in a new expanded form. Pinned apps and favorites are also available so users can choose their preferred programs more conveniently. The new OS will start up and resume quickly. It also features more built-in security to keep users safe and will work with existing hardware and software. Windows 10 is a fusion of the strong points of Windows 7 and Windows 8.
Microsoft reported that Windows 10 will also come with Microsoft Edge, which is an all-new browser that will provide users with great internet experience. Users may type or write notes directly on webpages as well as share these with other individuals. They can ready articles on the web without issues and get to save their favorites to view later. Cortana, the new digital assistant, can provide quick access to key actions like reading reviews and making reservations, without the need to leave the current page. Furthermore, Windows 10 allows users to open up to four apps and see all open tasks in a single view. Users can make virtual desktops or categorize items according to project.
There is a new Windows Store that can be accessed via PC, phone or tablet to get new games, apps, music, movies and shows. Cortana has the ability to learn over time and will be more useful as it becomes familiar with the user’s activities. Windows 10 also allows apps to look excellent in all modes regardless of the device. Users can also stream games, play with others and record gameplays from their Xbox One to their Windows 10 device.
The full version of Windows 10 will be available for free. Users may already reserve their upgrade. The new OS will launch on July 29, 2015.
To reserve, users must click “Reserve your free upgrade” found in the app window. They will be required to enter their email to confirm the reservation. Windows 10 will download once it becomes available and users can also cancel anytime. Microsoft stated that users will receive a notification after July 29 after Windows 10 is downloaded to their device. Users can install afterwards and enjoy the various features and capabilities of the most powerful Windows ever.
